When providing services we do not discriminate on the basis of race, age, gender, or religion. 

Financial qualifications, place of residence, and other factors will be taken into consideration and evaluated prior to giving aid.    There are limitations on the number of times and types of aid a client may be receive.  Funding for some types of assistance is received through other entities and their rules and regulations will apply.   Homeless or transient persons will be required to be prescreened by our local police department.  Aid of any type,  to any given individual, at any given time,  is not guaranteed.

Food Bank services are for the residents of Kingsburg

Those seeking help will be required to complete an application, which must be renewed annually.  During your initial visit please come prepared to show photo identification and a recent bill to prove residency.  

At every following visit for food you will need to show us a recent bill mailed to you at your address on file.  This helps us determine your ongoing eligibility without the need to fill out cumbersome forms each time you come.

PG&E assistance is available at our Kingsburg office and is for Kingsburg residents only. 

Funding through PG&E's REACH program has been discontinued.  We may still be able to help Kingsburg residents, but on a limited basis.  

Call our office at (559) 897-7961 to make an appointment.  Please be prepared to take notes and remember to bring to your appointment all of the documentation that will be necessary.      If you are from another area please contact your local Salvation Army for assistance. 

GAS assistance  is available in the Spring, usually beginning sometime in February and lasts until funds are no longer available.   Please call our office at (559) 897-7961 to make an appointment.    Residents from Kingsburg and surrounding communities may apply.


Rental assistance is available for Kingsburg residents who qualify. 

You must be able to prove a demonstrable need,  and your landlord will need to complete paperwork for you as well.   Only those in an emergency situation should apply.   We are not able to help with first month rent or security deposits.

KCAPS is a non-denominational Christian outreach.   

Through our various ministries and Emergency Services Office we offer prayer support as well as low or no cost professional counseling services.

  • Victims of human trafficking

We cannot guarantee your acceptance into a specific program, but we know the quality programs that are in our area.
